An overall goal is to create an open source community of developers who have diverse interests and opinions, but all benefit from the access to the same core technology platform, which would include Learning Content Management System and digital library supports (e.g., metadata tagging, etc). We call this platform SAIL for Scalable Architecture for Interactive Learning.
